Northern Utah County Transit Study

Project Overview

The Utah Transit Authority is teaming with the Mountainlands Association of Governments (MAG) to look at future transit/transportation projects in the northern part of Utah County. Possible future projects could include, but are not limited to:

  • Light Rail connection from Draper to Utah County, including station locations and right-of-way preservation.
  • Circulators linking major transit stops and local activity centers in the Northern Utah County area.
  • Options for transit extension to the west (as far as Eagle Mountain), including right-of-way preservation.

Project began November 2013 and is anticipated to be completed by August 2014.
