Current Events
The UTA Community Engagement team is working with the community of Draper to move Rockwell the Rock Snake to its future homes at the Art Castle (915 West 100 South) in Salt Lake City where community artwork will be part of a magical Art Sculpture Garden. Part of Rockwell will also go to the Draper Senior Center (1148 Pioneer Road) in Draper City to be enjoyed by visitors in the outdoor space. We will be moving Rockwell to its new homes on Friday, May 17.
With this transition, we are asking the community not to enter the railway to view, pick up, or drop off any rocks. The snake is still on UTA railway and property, where the same rail safety rules apply:
- Do not enter the railway and tracks
- Do not trespass
- Do not bike or skateboard in the area
We hope to help Rockwell continue its efforts of promoting youth engagement and making a positive impact through community artwork.
Adopt-a-Stop Shelter Wraps
